Site specific sound installation, Delft, The Netherlands, 2014.
Commissioned by Blikopener Festival.

Using architecture as an instrument to explore acoustic phenomena, ‘Circular Resonance’ is a site-specific work that exploits the architectural qualities and exceptional acoustics of the subterranean water basin in Deft; and produce live echoes and reverberations in the space.

The result is a semi-lived musical and spatial composition where the movements and propagation of sounds can be felt, heard and traced by the audience.

6 speakers are placed regularly within the circular corridor. This placement allows for the sound composition, the echoes and sound reverberations to be played at different times and in different places; creating movements or waves of sounds within the architecture.
