Audiosphere, Sound art Exhibition, Madrid, Spain, 2020.

The exhibition is curated by Francisco Lopez and present the work of a broad number of experimental sound artists.

Audiosphere seeks to constitute a non-conceptual, large-scale contemporary art exhibition with no images or objects, underpinned solely by sound works and an exhibition design that facilitates experiential, profound and prolonged listening.

An excerpt of the original 60 minutes length ‘FUGLA’ is presented at the exhibition.

‘Fugla’ means Birds in Icelandic.
The sounds of the birds populating Snæfellsjökull National Park and the small fishing villages around it, are incredibly diverse and rich. Mixing the birds vocalizations with the artist’s own vocalisations, Fugla is a soundscape that plays and experiments with the inherent musicality of the natural, animal and human worlds.
